I was curly
when I was a kid

I spawned in Adana, Turkey, on the 28th of February, 1998.
It took me a while to learn the basics, but I got a grasp of things eventually.
I've got my first computer when I was in middle school and I haven't shut up about games ever since then.
After grinding some levels at Ismail Kulak Anatolian High School, I spec’d into Computer Engineering at Çukurova University.

Eventually, I landed my first game industry job at JIB Games as a Game Developer in November 2022.At JIB Games, I worked on Polity, a cross-platform social sci-fi MMORPG where players create avatars to colonize a distant oceanic planet. Some colonies are governed by the game itself, and players can only be citizens there. However, in other colonies, players can compete with each other to become president or even build their own colony from the ground up. Players must work together to advance their colonies by constructing new buildings and adding decorations, each offering various benefits. Polity also features crafting, questing, and deep customization options.
I feel incredibly lucky to have started my game development career on such a massive and unique project. As a programmer,, I primarily focused on UI development, including implementing server interaction features (e.g., sending and requesting data), as well as creating 2D animations and mini-games!
In the summer of 2023, our studio was honored to be one of the five teams invited to the 2023 edition of F2P Campus. Along with three other team members, I flew to Spain in July 2023. F2P Campus is a Free-to-Play games accelerator program held at Euneiz University in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, where five teams participate in a two-month program guided by highly experienced mentors such as Aleix Risco, Nacho Pintos, and Oscar Sahun, as well as engaging public talks.
It was an amazing experience and definitely one of the highlights of my adventure. I gained invaluable insights into game design, UX design, user acquisition and marketing., which became the main catalyst for my transition from programming to game design.

With the new skills I unlocked at F2P Campus and my amateur background in narrative combined, at the very start of January 2024, I changed my class once again, from a Game Developer to Game & Narrative Designer.
As a designer, I revised many systems in the game, such as crafting, leveling, questing, looting, and country management. On the narrative side, I wrote countless quests and dialogues, leading the narrative flow of the game as well as all the story related content. I kept documentation of all the systems that I updated,, created many spreadsheets for game balance, developed lots of calculators to automate balancing, and continued assisting with programming when required.

.The final game was a 2D endless runner with time manipulation mechanics, blending resource management into the classic genre. The original game was created in 48 hours, and while it was satisfying, I knew I could make it even better. So, in October 2024, I decided to take over the project as a solo dev, fixing bugs, polishing rough edges, and turning it into a store-ready game. It's currently available on the Play Store.
In March 2024, my friends and I wanted to challenge ourselves by making our own game, so we participated in ATUJAM 2024. As usual, I was dual-wielding roles as both Game Designer and Game Developer. The theme given to us was 'time.' As the Game Designer, I made most of the decisions on the concept and mechanics of our game. As a Game Developer, I programmed almost all of the game with the help of another programmer on our team.

And this is the end of my adventure (so far). I’m still doing a bit of both programming and designing to this day. I've always known I have the generalist trait, so juggling different roles comes naturally to me. But my ultimate goal is to become a fully equipped game designer, which I believe best suits my base stats.

Thanks for joining my party!
